2015 4-H Quality Assurance Requirements
All exhibitors who wish to exhibit market steers (including baby beef), market lambs, market hogs, market goats, market poultry (broilers and turkeys), lactating dairy cattle and lactating goats at the fair must satisfy the Ashland County Quality Assurance requirement.  Youth, ages 8-11 as of January 1, 2015, must attend one of the programs listed below. For 2015, youth ages 12 – 18 may either attend one of the trainings listed below OR pass the Ashland County Quality Assurance test (given by OSU Extension) according to the requirements below.  All ages are as of January 1, 2015.

**Continuing for 2015: All Trainings are by Reservation Only**

Participants must call in before the training to register.  No walk-ins will be accepted.  Each class is limited to 35 participants so call early (419-281-8242) to get your first choice of dates.  Do not delay - classes may close weeks before they are scheduled.  If you make a reservation and do not show up (or call ahead to be excused) you will have to pay the $10 out-of-county fee in order to make another reservation.

4-H’ers who are also currently high school FFA members can receive their training through their FFA Instructors this spring.
