Cupcake Baking and Decorating Work shop for Youth

Area youth are invited to attend a 4-H workshop focusing on baking and decorating cupcakes on Saturday, January 23 from 1 to 4 pm at the Ashland County office of OSU Extension, located at 1763 State Route 60, in the Ashland County Service Center.

This workshop is open to any 4-H'er, or anyone interested in joining 4-H this year, who is in third grade or older. Participants will learn how to make cupcakes from scratch and also explore various decorating techniques including modeling chocolate, candy sculpting, "stained glass" designs, traditional icing methods, and several others.

The cost is $5.00 per person payable at the door, which includes supplies for all of the activities. Space is limited, so register today! This program is planned and conducted by members of the 4-H Family and Consumer Sciences Advisory Committee.
